Wing Lau is a designer from Hong Kong, residing in Australia and his design unit is based in Sydney since 2007.

Through his conceptually driven design unit, he aims to create works with aesthetic and conceptual integrity that last. Wing holds a Bachelor of Design degree with honours from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. He was awarded the Design Merit Certificate in 2007 for his graduation project and was the recipient of the Richard Dovey Medal of UNSW in 2008.

Since mid 2008, Wing became an adjunct member of the College of Fine Arts, complementing his design practice in Australia. He has also co-curated exhibition on typographic design and co-directed letterpress workshops alongside his involvement in the academic field. Wing is much attached to bilingual typographic design with English and Chinese; this is the very specific design field that he has been researching into as an on-going project, originated from his honours research thesis.

Since 2009, Wing teaches at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales and is responsible for two design studios which focus on typography and graphic compositions.

Over the past few years Joshua has taught in various academic institutions internationally and is currently teaching at UTS University.

In 2005 and 2006 he was awarded the SOYA prize in photography and in 2009 was flown to Cannes France to participate in the Sony World photography student exhibition.
When the opportunity arose to work on the Joyride documentary Joshua took on the role of DOP and has never looked back joining the boys at SBP Sydney.
